Dedication
The DeGregorio Family Foundation is dedicated to the many DeGregorio family members who have lost their lives to Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer (HDGC). First and foremost, it honors my father William A. DeGregorio M.D., but also my sister Eileen Dounce PhD., my grandmother Rachel D’Agnes, my Uncle Frankie, my Uncle Charlie, my Aunt Olivia, my Aunt Christina, as well as all my cousins and other relations who have died due to HDGC. It is further dedicated, with all my sympathy, to families everywhere who suffer with this horrible disease.
The Foundation exists in the hope that we will be the last generation to experience the tragic, premature loss of family from HDGC related cancers.
